Bravo! Bumble Bee Bundle Bees Buzz Behind!
Dear Editor,
Thank you so much for fixing the Bzzz portion (2 flying bees) of the Bumblebee Bundle a second time. The first fix enabled the bees to fly harmoniously with the “Aboard a Bee”. However, the bees stayed in front of Rabbit’s eyes, so when I entered the Monday Amazing Mini contest one bee appeared to be scratching the rabbit eye.
Apparently the alert Pogo artisans noticed and fixed this misalignment immediately. When I tried on the bees again they now fly behind the rabbit head in a way not to bother him. This fix was made without any complaint, and shows the great trouble the Pogo crew takes to insure that Mini problems are resolved once identified.
I am a very hoppy Poprabbit, as the increased flexibility of the bee bundle enables many new Mini combinations.
Thank you again, from a very hoppy Poprabbit who loves Pogo and the Pogo team.

Buying Additional Personal Challenges
Dear Pogo,
I am uberly excited about being able to buy additional Weekly Challenge slots with my Gems, but I need a little clarification before I do so.
Are these permanent slots (as in, when I buy them, I keep them) or is this a weekly thing (as in, when I buy them, I have only one week to play them and then when I play them they’re gone)?
If this is a permanent thing, I am so in!
Sincerely,
Patty
Editor: Good – no, scratch that – EXCELLENT question! Here’s how they work: you can buy as many as you want, but once you “activate” one, you only have until the end of the Weekly Challenge time to complete them. If you can’t earn it, then you can’t replay that particular Personal Challenge
SO – buy them in bulk to save Gems if you want, but make sure you activate and earn ONE at a time, and try to activate on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, unless you’re certain you can earn it before Tuesday evening. The ones you don’t activate will carry over week to week.
Rainy Changes to Rainy Day Spider Solitaire
RE: Rainy Day Spider Solitaire Changes to new Embedded Game Page.
It is not soothing to the eye.
Too much going on around the game to look at.
I really preferred the other pop up window when playing the game.
This is a game I like to wake up with while having my coffee before work. And relax with when I get home. The entire look is to much like the “free” part of Pogo.
I don’t feel like this is a game I pay for. I have been with Pogo since 2002 and just paid for another year.
You might think of going back to the other way with a pop up window. Much more relaxing and enjoying to play.
Thank you for your time.

Embedded Unhappiness
I hope you can help me. These embedded games are so hard on the eyes, they are to busy. I can’t make the screen smaller. When I restore down I can’t resize because it goes to an icon at the bottom of my screen. Also I use to be able to put my instant message chat next to the games and move the games to one side, I can’t with the embedded ones. They do not move at all.
I hope you are not planning to do this with all of the games, as I will be giving up pogo if that is the case along with a lot of unhappy people.
Please advise if there is some way to go back to the old way on the games that are embedded.
Hoping to hear some good news from you.
Linda
Editor: I actually do have a bit of good news. We are working on a way that will allow players to go to their favorite embedded game, choose a room if they’d like, and then have that game load up in a separate, correctly sized window that shows just the game and chat.
Keep your eyes on the Pogo News in the coming weeks for more information on that!
Love the New In-Game Progress!
Thank you, Tahd, and all the people at Pogo that make my day.
I really appreciate the posting of how many to next rank especially Word Whomp and Poppit, but many other games also.
I have been a member for many years and tried to keep track using the “Ranks and Badges” pages. It is all so much easier, now I can get rid of a lot of those pesky charts I used to keep track and spend more time in the games. THANK-YOU.
You all do such a great job!
Last but not least, thank you for the HOG games. I love them all, but CLUE is my favorite. But I like Claire Hart and Amazing Adventures too. Looking forward to Gardenscapes. Hopefully one that doesn’t require Gems! Please?
Thanks again,
Sandie
Editor: Glad you’re enjoying the recently added stats to some of our games! Gardenscapes is on its way! I’ll send your feedback on to the folks in charge of the Hidden Object Games.
Dismayed By Daily Hot Shots Decision
Dear Editor,
I am greatly dismayed at Pogo’s decision to retire Daily Hot Shots. I love this game. It challenges my mind to be creative every morning and come up with a snappy and entertaining phrase. Basically I love the unique creativity to start my day off right. I work in a hospital where we deal with financial challenges every day to meet our patients needs. Though the service you offer is not life threatening, it does bring a many, such as myself, joy and pleasing entertainment. Laughter and Joy is some of the best medicine!
Money should not be your driving force. Your company has been crafty in getting more money with Gems which should cover the cost of your maintenance. Please reconsider your decision and continue providing many of your subscribers with the joy and excellence of Pogo’s unique creativity in Daily Hot Shots. I for one would be very thankful.
Thank you for taking the time to read my concern and thoughts.
Christopher
Editor: And thank you for writing. The decision to retire Daily Hot Shots was not an easy one. Believe me. We put a lot of effort into creating that game, and it took a lot of going back and forth before the final decision was made.
Simply put – the game, as fun as it is, required resources that were hard to sustain long term for such a small audience. While those who played were very loyal, the numbers have been declining for some time.
We did look at many options, but ultimately came to the decision that it’s unlikely that any future improvements to the game would bring forth the volume we’d need to maintain Daily Hot Shots.
Again – this was a very, very tough choice. The last thing we want to do is upset our players. We have some of the most passionate and loyal players a game site could hope for, and we do keep that in mind in all of our decisions.
I Wanted to Choose A Room!
Tahd, This week I chose First Class Solitaire as one of my weekly Personal Badges. I am very disappointed, as I was not permitted to choose my own chat room to play in, why is this? Along with all of the other problems that Pogo is having this should not be one of them.
Editor: You should have been able to with no problem! The Chat Rooms are still available with the Embedded Game Pages. Look below the game, for the “Chat Rooms” tab, and you can navigate with the radio buttons through the tabs to find your favorite room. For more info, look at the last graphic in the Questions About Embedded Games Answered! article.
How Can You Possibly Deny My Request After This?
Dear Mr. Editor,
My name is Holly Noelle and I am a Basset Hound, and I have my very own Club Pogo account. Since I have very large paws my human Mom helps with my badges and my correspondence :)
I am writing today because Pogo has decided to get rid of DHS, and I really enjoy dressing up. Please see my photo for proof of this.
There are many Club Pogo members that really enjoy this game. Please tell us what we can do to keep our DHS.
Soft Snooter Kisses,
Holly Noelle
Editor: Well, you certainly don’t make it easy, now, do you?
Thank you, you sweet basset hound, for your dedication. As stated in the previous letter, the decision wasn’t easy, and we did explore many avenues to keep it around, but in the end, it just didn’t make good business sense to do so.
That said, you sure are a cutie, and we do hope that you’ll continue to dress up, especially when you want to make a point to the Editor about something!
